    How do I join ADAS?


    There are several different categories of membership:

    New Associate Member: someone who wishes to update their driving skills but does not wish to take an advanced test. This award is known as the "Improved Driver" award. An initial fee of £25.00 is payable (max 20hrs tuition). 

    New Member: someone who requires training and support in order to reach a level of driving skill relevent to an advanced driver and wishes to undertake an independent assessment. An initial fee of £50.00 (including resources pack) is payable on joining. 

    If copies of “Roadcraft” and the Official Highway Code are not required a fee of £25.00 will be payable.

    Qualified Member: someone who has undertake a course of learning and has been independently tested and qualified as an advanced driver. £18.00

    Approved or Advanced Trainer: a member who is a qualified advanced driver and who holds either of these additional qualifications and provides training for at least one new member per year during the validity of their qualification. £15.00

    Committee Member: an elected and permanent member of the Committee. £12.00
